Our small unit is tucked away in Dr. Jaganatha Nagar, right near the Civil Aerodrome Post. Being so close to the airport means we hear the planes taking off all day, but we’ve mostly gotten used to the noise. We work with various types of fabrics here, focusing mostly on natural materials. The workspace is a large, open room with several long wooden tables where we lay out the cloth for cutting. It’s not a fancy setup by any means. There are rolls of fabric leaning in every corner and bins full of different colored threads. We’ve been operating from this location for several years now. It’s a quiet part of town otherwise, with mostly houses and a few other small businesses around us. We don't have a big marketing team or a shiny office. It’s just a few of us who know how to handle the material. Sometimes the fabric has small flaws we have to work around, which is just part of using natural stuff. We spend a lot of time checking the quality by hand. If you drop by, you’ll probably find us busy with the measuring tapes and scissors. It’s practical work that keeps us busy from morning until evening. We just focus on making sure the fabric is handled right before it goes out to the customers. We usually wrap things in plain paper bundles.
