Chitra International

Chitra International is sitting right here on No. 24, V.E. School Street in Kongu Nagar. It’s a quiet enough street, though you can always hear the sound of the nearby schools and the local traffic. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time. Our work is mostly about export and general trade, keeping things moving from our corner of the world to places far away. The office isn’t much to look at, just some desks, a few computers, and a lot of samples lying around. We’ve got a small team, and we all wear many hats. One minute we’re on the phone with a supplier, and the next we’re checking a shipment in the back. It’s a lot of back-and-forth. We don’t use big words to describe what we do. We just make sure the goods are what they’re supposed to be and that they get where they’re going. Living and working in Kongu Nagar has its own rhythm. You get to know the people at the tea stall and the guys who deliver the mail. It’s a local feel, even if our business reaches further out. We aren’t some big corporate entity; we’re just Chitra International, trying to do right by our clients and keep the wheels turning. It’s steady work, and we’re glad to be doing it right here on V.E. School Street.
