Chitra Industries

If you head down Trichy Road in Singanallur, you will find Chitra Industries at number 660. It’s a busy stretch of road with a lot of shops and small factories lined up next to each other. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time. Our building is a bit old now, and the paint is peeling in some corners, but it’s sturdy. Inside, the floor is busy with workers handling different parts of the manufacturing process. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles here. It’s just a place where things get made. The office is right at the front, and you can hear the traffic from Trichy Road all day long. We have a couple of desks and some old filing cabinets that are stuffed with years of records. There is usually a pot of tea going somewhere in the back. We don't put on a show for anyone. When people come to see us, they see the real shop floor and the real people doing the work. It’s a bit messy sometimes, especially when a big shipment is going out, but that’s just how it is. We grew up around here and we know the local way of doing things. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure we can open the doors again tomorrow morning to do it all over again without any fuss or fancy talk.
