Chinmaya International Residential School

We are located out on Siruvani Road, right near the Karunya Nagar Post. Being a residential school means this place is busy pretty much all the time, not just during the day. The students live here, so the campus is their home for most of the year. It’s a bit away from the main city noise, which is nice if you like a bit of peace and quiet. You can see the hills from parts of the grounds, and the air feels a bit different out here compared to the crowded streets. We have dormitories where the kids stay, and they have to follow a fairly steady routine every day. They get up, have their meals in the dining hall, and then go to their classes. It’s a lot of work keeping everything running, from the kitchen to the classrooms and the living quarters. The staff stays here too, so we’re all part of this little community on Siruvani Road. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when there’s an event or when the kids are heading home for the holidays, but mostly it’s just the sound of people talking and the occasional ball game on the field. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. It’s just a big place where students learn and live together. The road outside can get a bit quiet in the evenings, but inside there’s always something going on. It's a long way from the center of town, but we've got everything needed right here for the kids.
