Our office is located at number 5, Lakshmi Puram, which is right by the Ganapathy Post area here in Coimbatore. It is a very busy part of town, so there is always some noise from the street outside, mostly scooters and the occasional truck passing by. The building is an older one, but it serves us well enough for our consultancy business. Inside, we have our desks lined up and a lot of shelves for all the records we have to keep. It is not a fancy place with glass walls or anything like that. We have some plastic chairs for when people stop by and a ceiling fan that makes a bit of a clicking sound when it is on the high setting. Most of our work involves sitting through piles of paperwork and making sure everything is in order. We usually start quite early before the sun gets too high and the heat starts to build up. There are a few small eateries nearby where we go for a quick bite or some tea in the afternoon. It is a very typical Coimbatore setup where everyone knows each other in the street. We have been at this Ganapathy location for some time now and we have gotten used to the rhythm of the post office nearby and the local market crowds. It is just a normal day-to-day operation where we try to stay on top of the work without too much fuss or complicated procedures.
