You can find us at Number 545 K on Sathy Road in Bkr Nagar, which is right in the Gandhipuram area. Capital Arts has been operating from this location for several years now. We are mainly focused on commercial art and similar projects that local businesses need. The shop sits on a fairly busy road, so there’s always a bit of dust and noise from the passing traffic. Inside, it’s a bit more relaxed than the street outside. We have our drafting tables and some older computers that we use for the design work. It’s not a very large place, but we have managed to fit everything we need into the space. We usually start the day early to beat the heat and get a head start on the orders we have for the week. Most of our customers are from the neighborhood or other parts of Gandhipuram. We don’t really do any big marketing; we just rely on people seeing our shop when they drive by or hearing about us from someone else. The walls are covered with old samples and color charts that have been there for ages. It’s a bit worn out in places, but it’s a comfortable place to work. We try to be helpful when someone comes in with a vague idea of what they want. We just keep things simple and try to do a decent job every time. There is always something to do, even on the slower days.
