You will find us at No. 400/530 on P N Road right by the Miller Stop in Tirupur. It is a very dusty part of town because of all the traffic and the construction going on nearby. At Bharath Glass And Plywood, we spend our days moving heavy sheets of material around. It is hard work and you have to be careful with your hands. The shop is basically a large warehouse with a small office partitioned off in one corner. We have stacks of plywood leaning against the walls and crates of glass sitting in the center. We wear old clothes because everything gets covered in sawdust or glass dust pretty quickly. The Miller Stop is a landmark around here so people usually find us without needing a map. We have a truck that comes in twice a week and those are our busiest days. We don't have a computer for everything, so we write a lot of stuff down on pads of paper. The floor is concrete and it’s usually covered in scrap pieces that we sweep up at the end of the day. It’s a loud place because of the saws and the trucks on P N Road but we are used to it. We just focus on getting the measurements right and helping the people who come in looking for materials for their homes or shops.
