Balaji Filter Tech

Balaji Filter Tech is over at Sf No.33/1B in Kannampalayam. We’re right by the Peedampalli Post area. It’s a bit of a drive out from the city, but it’s quiet enough for us to get things done. We focus on filters. The workshop is usually busy from the early morning. You’ll hear the constant sound of materials being cut and shaped. We have a small team here. Most of us live nearby, so we walk or bike in. The air in the facility is always a bit metallic. We spend a lot of time checking the mesh and the frames. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s what we know how to do. The Peedampalli area has grown a bit since we first arrived, but we’ve stayed in the same spot. We have stacks of filters waiting to be shipped out in the yard. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time finding the exact turn, but they usually get here eventually. We don’t have a big HR department or a fancy lobby with a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably find us on the floor working in our overalls. We take our lunch breaks together near the back entrance where it's cooler. It’s a practical place. We don’t use big words to describe the work. We just make sure the filters are put together right. We’ve seen the seasons change many times from this workshop. Rain or shine, the work continues.
