Baben Watch Company

We’ve been here at New No-238/11 for a good while now. Most people know us because we're right across from Pochy Supermarket on Oppanakkara Street. It’s a busy spot, honestly. We mostly deal with watches, obviously. People bring in their old ones that stopped working, or they just want something new for a gift. My desk is usually covered in tiny screws and tools. It gets dusty sometimes but we keep at it. Sometimes people get confused by the old number 547, but the new one is 238/11. It's just how the street is. We have all kinds of watches on the shelves, some fancy and some just for everyday use. If you need a battery changed, it usually takes just a few minutes unless I’m stuck with another customer. The shop isn't huge, but there’s enough room to look around. I like being in this part of town. You see all sorts of people walking by. Some just peek through the glass and move on. We try to keep the lights bright so you can see the dials clearly. It’s quiet in the mornings before the market really gets going. Then it stays loud until we close up. If you're looking for us, just find the supermarket and look across the road. We’re right there. It's nothing fancy, just a place to get your watch sorted out or find a new one that works for you.
