S S Lites

S S Lites is our lighting shop at No. 903 Revathika Complex, right on the busy Avinashi Road. We’ve been here for a few years, and it’s a good spot because of all the people driving past. The shop is small but we’ve managed to fit a lot of different lights and electrical parts onto the shelves. It’s usually quite bright inside because we have to show off the bulbs we sell. Avinashi Road is always noisy, and there is a lot of dust that blows in from the street, so we are constantly cleaning the displays. We aren't a big chain store or anything like that. It’s just me and a helper most days. We don't have any fancy marketing plans. We just open the shop, put out a few displays on the sidewalk, and wait for customers to come in. Sometimes the power goes out in the complex, which is ironic for a light shop, but we just use torches until it comes back on. We know a lot of the local electricians who stop by to pick up supplies for their jobs. The Revathika Complex is an older building, so it has its charms and its problems. We don't have any corporate slogans or polished sales talk. If you need a light fixed or a specific bulb, we’ll do our best to find it for you in our stock.
