Atelier Apparel Sourcing

Finding us is a bit of a trick if you don't know the area. We are upstairs from Thangam Mobile, right across from Selvi Furniture on Kangayam Road. It’s No. 14-A in Kathir Layout. Atelier Apparel Sourcing is mostly about finding the right fabrics and factories for people. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out visiting shops. The office itself is small. We have samples hanging everywhere and piles of swatches on the tables. It’s a bit cluttered, but that’s how we know where the good stuff is. Kangayam Road is always busy, so there’s a lot of noise from the street coming up through the windows. We’ve been doing this for a long time. We aren't a big agency with a lobby. You just come up the stairs and we’re there. Sometimes the stairs are a bit steep if you’re carrying a lot of bags. We know the local guys who run the furniture shop across the way. We help people figure out where to get their clothes made without all the corporate headache. It’s just us sharing what we know about the trade. We don't have a big marketing budget. Most people find us because we’ve helped someone else they know. It’s a practical way to run a business. We just keep at it every day.
