This place is 3/520 Mercy Villa, located in Defence Colony over by the Sulur Airforce Post. It is a bit of a different setup since it’s in a residential-feeling area like Sulur. Dealing with sales for DHL Global Forwarding from here means a lot of time spent on the computer and the mobile. Sulur isn't as frantic as the big cities, but work still keeps us moving. The villa is where the magic happens, or at least where all the emails get sent from. Being near the airforce post, you hear the planes sometimes, which is a reminder of the industry we are in, I guess. It is a lot of talking to clients and trying to get the pricing right for global shipments. Some days are slow and others feel like there aren't enough hours. We aren't a big flashy office with a reception desk and uniforms. It’s more about the individual work and keeping the connections alive. We handle the paperwork and the coordination that comes with forwarding goods across borders. The address at Mercy Villa is home base for us. It’s a practical way to work, staying close to the logistics side of things without the overhead of a massive downtown building. We just do our bit to make sure the global chain doesn't break on our watch. It can get quiet sometimes, but there is always something to update or a call that needs taking before the day is done.
