Aravind Eye Hospital

Aravind Eye Hospital is situated on Avinashi Road right by the Civil Aerodrome. It is a well-known landmark for anyone living in this part of town. The hospital is quite big and we deal with a lot of eye cases every day. From simple eye exams to more complex surgeries, there is always something happening in the different departments. The morning starts very early with a crowd of people waiting at the gates. We have a large team of people at the reception to handle the check-ins. It is a very busy environment, and you can hear the hum of people talking and machines running all day. The interior is simple and built for many people to pass through. We have basic seating in the waiting areas and some fans to keep the air moving. It can get quite hot during the summer months. Most of us who work here have been doing this for a long time, so we know how to handle the rush. We don't use any polished language or fancy brochures. It is just a hospital where we focus on getting the job done for the people who need us. The location near the aerodrome makes it easy for people to find, but the road outside is always packed with vehicles. We just take it one patient at a time and try to keep things as organized as we can. It is a lot of effort every day.
