Aparna Prints Llp

Aparna Prints is out at the TEKIC industrial area in Mudalipalayam. We are in Shed No. 85, which is part of the SIDCO setup. If you’ve ever been to an industrial estate, you know what it’s like. It’s rows of sheds and the sound of machines everywhere. We do printing work, so there’s always the smell of ink and the sound of the drying racks moving. It’s a practical space designed for work, not for looking pretty. The floor is concrete and there are spills here and there that we clean up as we go. We start early in the morning before the heat gets too bad. Most of our workers have been with us for a long time and they know exactly how to handle the screens and the fabrics. We don't have a big fancy office. It’s just a corner of the shed with a desk and some files. Mudalipalayam is a bit out of the main city, but it’s where all the action is for textile printing. Trucks are constantly coming in and out of the estate. We spend our time checking the patterns and making sure the colors look the way they are supposed to. It’s repetitive work, but we take it seriously because that’s how we pay the bills. There aren't any big speeches or mission statements here. We just print what needs to be printed and move on to the next job.
