Animatrix

Animatrix is tucked away at number 98 in the Hilton Plaza, right on Municipal Office Road in Ootacamund. Being up here in the Nilgiris means the weather is usually a bit cooler than the plains, which makes working at the computers a lot more comfortable. Our space in Tamil Nadu is where we spend our hours focusing on the projects at hand. It is a busy spot near the municipal office, so there is always some activity outside our windows. We have set up the office with the basic things we need to stay productive throughout the day. The tea here is good, and we often take short breaks to look out at the hills before getting back to the screens. Most of the people working here are locals or have lived in Ooty long enough to feel like it. We don't spend much time worrying about the decor; we just keep the desks tidy and make sure the equipment is running like it should. Sometimes the internet acts up because of the mountain weather, but we have learned to deal with those little interruptions over the years. It is a quiet kind of life compared to the big cities, but there is always plenty of work to keep us occupied from morning until the sun goes down over the mountains. The Hilton Plaza location is a good spot for us.
