Amrutham Health Clinic

We are located on Pankaja Mill Road in Ramanathapuram. If you know where the Pankaja mill is, we’re right opposite to it. It’s a landmark everyone in this part of Ramanathapuram knows. The clinic is a simple setup on the ground floor. We have a small porch area where people sometimes wait if the inside gets too full. It’s mostly just a few rooms for consultations and a small pharmacy area. The road outside is busy because of the mill and the trucks, so there’s always a bit of dust and noise. We’ve got a couple of benches for people to sit on while they wait for their turn. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they're okay for now. We see a lot of the workers from the nearby businesses and families from the local streets. Our hours are pretty standard, but sometimes we stay a bit late if there’s a line. We don’t have a fancy computerized calling system, we just call out the names when it’s time to go in. The doctors here have been practicing for years. They don't rush through the appointments, which is why things sometimes run behind schedule. It’s a humble place, honestly. We deal with the basic health needs of the people living around Pankaja Mill Road. We keep a stock of the common medicines so people don't have to go far. It’s just a regular neighborhood clinic doing its thing every day without any big fuss or extra costs for the patients.
