Ammarun Foundries

If you head down Rathinagiri Road toward Vilankurichi Post, you’ll find us at Sf No. 80/6A. Ammarun Foundries is a place where we actually get our hands dirty. It’s a foundry, so it’s hot and loud most of the time, which is just part of the job. We don’t have an air-conditioned lobby or anything like that. It’s more about the metal and the molds and making sure the heat is just right. The staff here has been together for a long time, so we don't really need to talk much to know what needs doing next. We just fall into a rhythm. The yard can get a bit cluttered with scrap and finished pieces waiting to go out, but we know where everything is. Living and working near Vilankurichi has its own pace. It’s a bit away from the main city rush, which we prefer. Some days the weather makes the work harder, especially when it’s humid, but we just push through it. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just a reliable one that does what it says it will. There’s a lot of pride in seeing a finished casting come out right after all the hard work. We don't have a PR person to tell our story. It’s just us, some heavy equipment, and a lot of grit at our spot on Rathinagiri Road. We keep things moving and try to finish our shifts before it gets too late.
