You can find Aksharam International School at 426/2, Kuttai Thottam, just off Mettupalayam Road. It’s a bit away from the main noise of the traffic, which is nice. We have a decent-sized area here. The school isn't some massive corporate building. It’s more of a functional space for the kids who live around Mettupalayam Road. We have several classrooms and a bit of space for outdoor activities. The morning routine is pretty standard. We open up, check the rooms, and get ready for the day. We don’t spend money on glossy brochures. We just focus on the work at hand. Most of our days are spent talking to parents or helping students with their work. The building itself is simple, with plain walls and regular windows. We try to keep the garden area tidy, but the weeds grow fast. It’s just part of the job. We have a small office where we handle the fees and the registration. It’s a lot of filing and writing things down in ledgers. We don’t have any grand statements to make. We just run the school. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to adjust, but that’s normal here. We’re just a local school trying to provide a place for the kids in Kuttai Thottam.
