We are located at 44-45 on 4th Street Extension in Gandhipuram. This is the Tatabad area of Coimbatore, which is always busy. There are so many shops and businesses around us. Our office is a straightforward place where we handle chit funds. We have a few rooms where the staff sits and works on the accounts. It is not a very flashy office. We have plain furniture and the usual office supplies scattered around. People in Coimbatore are very practical, and so are we. They come in to join a chit group or to pick up their money. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to members or checking the bank records. Gandhipuram is the heart of the city, so we get a lot of foot traffic. Sometimes people just pop in to ask how a chit works. We explain it to them in simple terms. We have been in this spot for a bit, so we are part of the daily life on 4th Street. The traffic can be a nightmare sometimes, but it means the area is alive. We keep our records on the computer but we still like to have everything on paper too, just in case. It is a lot of work to keep everything balanced, but we just keep at it every day. It is just a regular office doing regular work for the local community.
