REE & Company

REE & Company is based at 16-1 on Mkp Main Road. It’s a busy spot, and the road outside never really seems to quiet down. We have been here for a while, and the shop has become a bit like a second home to us. It’s a rectangular space with shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling. We keep a lot of stock, so finding things sometimes requires a ladder and a bit of patience. We aren't into the whole corporate polish. The counter is old wood, and the floor has seen better days, but it works for what we do. Most of our day is spent dealing with people who walk in off Mkp Main Road looking for specific parts or help with a technical issue. We don't have a big staff, so whoever is free helps the customer. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We don't use much in the way of fancy technology, just a basic computer for the billing and our own knowledge of the inventory. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon makes the shop feel a bit heavy, so we keep the door open to catch whatever breeze comes off the street. We know most of the other shop owners on this block. We trade stories over the back fence or at the tea stall. It is a simple, honest business, and we just try to keep the shelves stocked and the customers satisfied without any fuss.
