Yogesh Store

Our little shop, Yogesh Store, is right here in Ward No. 14 in Charwas village. It’s easy to find because we’re located right near the government school. You can usually hear the kids playing and shouting during their breaks, which is a nice sound to have in the background while we go about our work. Living and working in the Sujangarh taluka means things move a bit slower than in the big cities, and we actually prefer it that way. Churu gets really hot during the summer, as everyone around here knows, so the store ends up being a bit of a cool spot for people to duck into for a few minutes. We keep the shelves stocked with the basic things people in the village need for their homes every day. It’s not a huge place, just a simple room with our stock stacked up on the wooden shelves. Sometimes neighbors stop by just to chat for a bit and share some news, even if they don't actually need to buy anything that day. That's just the way it is in Charwas. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their first name. My family has been in this area for a long time, and running the store feels like a natural part of our daily life. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down. There’s always some dusting to do.
