We've been doing work around Shiv Colony for a while now. Most people know the spot at 12/23. It’s a busy place. Building stuff takes time and there's always dust everywhere, but that is just part of the job. We keep our tools at the shop and head out to sites early in the morning. Sometimes things get delayed because of rain or materials not showing up on time. That is just how construction goes. We try to keep things moving though. The office isn't anything fancy, just a desk and some chairs where we look at plans. People stop by to ask about fixing a wall or putting up a small shed. We don't have a big crew, just a few guys who know their way around a shovel and cement mixer. It gets hot out there in the sun. If you walk past Shiv Colony 12/23, you will probably see our truck parked out front. We aren't doing skyscraper work or anything like that. It's mostly just local houses and small repairs that keep us busy day to day. We've lived in this area for years so we know the neighbors well. Usually, we just chat over tea while discussing what needs to be built next. It’s honest work and it pays the bills. Sometimes we run out of bricks and have to wait for the tractor to come by. We just take it as it comes and try to finish what we started before the next job rolls in.
