Nareshwar Care Foundation

Our place is in Ward No 02 over in Peetheesar, right at Kishan Singh’s house. If you know the Churu area, Pithisar is a quiet enough spot. We started this foundation because we saw folks around the village struggling with basic things. It isn't a fancy setup. We mostly work out of a few rooms and spend a lot of time out in the streets talking to people. Since it's a small place, everyone knows everyone else’s business, which helps when someone needs a hand. We don't have a big staff or a board of directors in suits. It’s just us, the local residents, putting in the hours. Sometimes we run out of supplies or the weather makes it hard to get around, but we manage. We handle the care work directly. If an elderly neighbor needs something or a family is going through a rough patch, we try to step in. It’s practical work. We don't use big words or have a complicated manual for how things should be done. We just look at what’s wrong and try to fix it. The paperwork can be a headache, and sometimes we're up late sorting out files by candlelight if the power goes out. That’s just life in the village. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just our little corner of Churu where we grew up and still live today.
