Mtl Nidhi Limited

Our office for Mtl Nidhi Limited is right near the Kachha Bus Stand on Churo Road in Sardar Shahar. It's a dusty place because of all the buses going in and out all day long. You can hear the conductors shouting destinations right from our window. We spend most of our time here managing the paperwork for the local members. It’s not a very big office but it serves the purpose. Being in the Churu district means it gets very hot in the summer and quite cold in the winters. We have a small heater for those chilly mornings. Most days start with sweeping out the dust that blows in from the bus stand. I usually sit near the front to see who is coming. People stop by after getting off the bus to ask questions or drop off some documents. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't use much fancy software, just the basic stuff to keep everything straight. The chai shop next door is where we get our energy from. We know most of the bus drivers by name now. It’s a busy little corner of Sardar Shahar. Sometimes we stay late when the month is ending to make sure all the entries are correct. There isn't any corporate talk here. We just speak the way everyone else does in the neighborhood. It’s a practical place for practical work. We just keep our heads down and get the job done.
