Working out here in Churu near the Reserve Police Line is an interesting experience. If you’ve ever been to this part of Rajasthan, you know the weather is no joke. We’re located right at the 331001 pin code, and our marketing office is basically a hub for the local activity. It’s not a very big operation, just a few of us trying to keep things running smooth. We start our day early before the sun gets too high and the heat becomes unbearable. Being so close to the police line means it is a relatively quiet and orderly neighborhood, which helps us focus on the marketing tasks at hand. We don’t really go in for any of that fancy business talk you hear in the big cities like Jaipur. We just talk plain and do our work. There’s a lot of coming and going, and we try to be as helpful as we can to anyone who stops by. The office is simple, maybe a bit cluttered with files and old registers, but we know where everything is. Churu is a place with a lot of history, and we feel like a small part of the daily life here now. It’s just an honest day’s work for us, and we don’t ask for much more than that. We just stay busy and try to stay cool when the desert sun is beating down on the roof. It is a quiet life.
