Khan Traders

We’ve been sitting here on Nokha Jaipur Road in Sandwa for a good while now. Most people know us because we’re right near the big pani ki tanki, which makes us pretty easy to find if you’re coming from out of town. It gets a bit busy with the trucks passing by, but that’s just how it is around here. Khan Traders isn't a fancy place with air conditioning or anything like that. We just open up early, sweep the front, and start moving whatever stock came in. Sometimes the stock is late or the weather makes things difficult, but we manage. People stop by for all sorts of things they need for their houses or projects. We don't really do big advertisements. Mostly, it’s just neighbors or people who saw the sign while driving toward Jaipur. Sometimes we sit out front when it's quiet and watch the traffic. It’s a simple setup. If you need something, you just walk in and ask. We try to keep everything organized, though it gets messy when we're busy loading stuff. My hands are usually a bit dirty by midday from moving bags or checking supplies. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the afternoons, so we usually pull the shade down halfway. It makes it a bit cooler inside while we wait for the next person to pull over. We’ve seen a lot of people come and go from Sandwa over the years. Some are regulars who we know by name. We don't have any big slogans. It's just a place to get what you need without a lot of fuss.
