We’ve been setting up shop here in Ward No. 31 for a long time now. If you walk past the Masjid Kayam Safa, you can’t really miss us over in Gazi Khan Ka Bass. It’s a busy little area and we’ve gotten used to the noise and the rhythm of the neighborhood. Mostly, we deal with khadi fabric and all the work that goes into making it right. There’s always someone spinning or checking the threads, and the smell of raw cotton is just part of the air we breathe every day. We don't have a fancy showroom with glass windows or anything like that. It’s just a place where work gets done. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit for a bit, or the guys grab tea from the stall around the corner. We know most of the people living around here by name. Our space is filled with piles of cloth that need to be moved or sorted. It gets a bit cramped when a new shipment comes in, but we manage. People stop by to ask directions or just to chat about the weather. It’s not a quiet job, but it’s what we know how to do. The name on the sign says Impression Indian Khadi Pvt. Ltd., but most folks just know us as the place near the masjid. We keep things simple and try to get the orders ready when we say we will.
