Global P.G College Sultana Jhunjhunu

Down here on Kithana Road in Sultana, things move at their own pace. Global P.G College has been part of this landscape for some time now. Being in Jhunjhunu, the summers get really intense, so the college building is where everyone hides from the sun. Students come from Chirawa and other nearby spots in Rajasthan. The classrooms have high ceilings to try and keep things cool. We have a lot of books in the library that have been handled by many hands over the years. The staff room is usually full of tea cups and piles of paper. It’s a plain place, nothing too flashy about it. We just open up in the morning and wait for the students to arrive on their bikes or by the local bus. The road outside can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up. Our address at 331305 is pretty easy to find once you get into Sultana. There is a sense of routine that everyone just follows. We don't really do big speeches or anything like that. People come here to get their degrees and move on with their lives. You can hear the sounds of the town from the windows. It’s just a normal college life in this corner of the state. Most of us have been working here for years and we know the families of the students who walk through the doors. It is just how things are at Global P.G College.
