Ganesh Stone Industries

Ganesh Stone Industries has been operating out of Plot No.G-101 on Road No. 2 for quite some time now. Being in the Riico Industrial Area means it’s always busy around here with trucks and heavy machinery moving all day long. We mostly deal with different types of stone, cutting them down to size and making sure they are ready for whatever project they’re needed for. It is a dusty job and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. The shed is large enough to keep the main machines out of the rain, but most of the inventory just sits out in the yard. We aren’t a big corporate setup with a receptionist or anything like that. Usually, you’ll find one of us near the back where the cutting happens or checking the slabs near the gate. It gets pretty loud when the saws are running, so we usually have to shout to hear each other. We’ve seen the industrial area grow over the years, and even though the neighbors change, we just keep doing what we do. It’s hard work, especially when it’s hot outside, but we’re used to it. We try to be fair with people who come in looking for materials. There’s no fancy showroom here, just stacks of stone and a few of us trying to get the orders filled on time. Most of our days start early before the sun gets too high, and we stay until the last truck is loaded up.
