Our office is based in the village of Chandgothi. It’s a small, local setup where we handle all the regular tasks for the business. Being in a VPO means we’re right in the heart of the community, and we see the same people almost every day. The space we work in is basic—just a few chairs, some tables, and our record books. We don’t have any high-tech gadgets or modern decor. It’s a practical room where the main goal is to get the paperwork finished correctly. Sometimes it’s very quiet, and you can just hear the birds outside, which is a nice change from the city. We take our time with the documents to make sure nothing gets missed. Since everyone knows everyone else around here, it feels more like helping out neighbors than just doing a job. We don’t have a big staff, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to balancing the accounts. It’s a humble place, but it’s ours, and it serves the purpose perfectly. We don’t feel the need to make it look like a big bank. We’re just local people working in our own village. Most days are pretty much the same, but we like the routine. We just keep our heads down and focus on the daily tasks that keep the business going for everyone in Chandgothi. If the power goes out, we just open the windows and keep going.
