We are Kamadenu Milk Dindigul and we are based out of the Chrompet area. Dealing with milk means our days start very early, usually way before the sun comes up. It’s a lot of work making sure everything is handled properly and kept cold. Our facility in Chrompet is where the trucks come in to unload and then head back out for deliveries. It’s a bit of a wet and cold environment inside, but that’s the nature of the dairy business. We have a small crew that has been working with us for a long time. We don't have a lot of fancy office space because most of what we do is on the floor or out on the routes. Milk is something everyone needs, so we stay pretty busy all year round. Sometimes the weather makes the deliveries difficult, especially when it rains hard, but we try to stay on schedule as much as we can. We don't spend a lot of time on fancy advertisements. Most people in the neighborhood know us by now. It’s a straightforward operation. We focus on the daily routine of bottling and distribution. It’s hard work and the hours are long, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We just keep the machines running and the milk moving. We also sell curd and other milk items when we have extra. It keeps the fridge full and the people happy.
