Sharma Traders

Sharma Traders is located in Village Dhamane, which is in the Dhule district. We are at House No. 500, and the Ganesh Mandir is just a short walk away. Being in a village, things are much slower and quieter than they are in the main town of Dhule. We trade in various goods and our house is also where we keep a lot of the stock. It’s a very local, family-run business. You might see the kids playing nearby while we are talking to a customer. The temple brings a lot of people to this part of the village, especially on special days, so we get a bit more foot traffic then. Otherwise, it’s mostly people we have known our whole lives coming by. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us doing everything from carrying bags to writing out the receipts. The air is cleaner out here, though the roads can get pretty dusty in the dry season. We like the pace of life in Dhamane. It's practical and honest work. Sometimes we sit out front and watch the cows go by or talk to the neighbors about the weather and the crops. We don't have any big plans to move or change things much. We just want to keep the trading going and stay a part of this community near the Ganesh Mandir like we always have been.
