R. K Hardwares

R. K Hardwares is located at No. 131 Choolai High Road in the Choolai area of Chennai. This is an old part of the city and our shop fits right in. It’s a bit cramped inside because we try to keep so many different things in stock. From nails and screws to paints and tools, we’ve got shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling. Choolai High Road is always crowded and noisy, with people and rickshaws constantly passing by. We’ve been here for years, and the shop has that old-school feel to it. It’s not one of those modern showrooms where everything is spaced out nicely. You usually have to ask us where something is because it’s tucked away in a corner somewhere behind something else. We know where most of it is, though. Dealing with customers all day is what we do, and we see all sorts of people coming in for small repairs or bigger building jobs. Sometimes we get a bit grumpy when it’s too hot or the shop gets too crowded, but we try to help everyone out eventually. We don't bother with fancy displays or lights. The goods are just there on the shelves. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, and we just keep doing what we’ve always done. It’s a busy life on Choolai High Road, but we wouldn't know what else to do with our time.
