Our place is out in Village Post Office Chandwaji, which is a bit of a drive out into the district. It’s a much quieter area than the city, though the main road still sees its fair share of traffic. Tirupati Crane Service operates from this spot because there’s plenty of room to park the bigger rigs without getting in everyone’s way. Being near the post office makes it easy for people to find us, as it’s the main landmark around here. The office is really just a simple room with a desk and a couple of chairs. We spend most of our time out on sites or checking the equipment in the lot. It’s a family-style environment where we just get things done without a lot of talking. We don't have a website or a big social media presence; most people just know we’re here. The dust from the village roads usually finds its way into everything, but that’s just part of living out here. We’ve been part of this community for a while now. It’s a slow pace of life until the phone rings for a crane job. Then everything moves pretty fast. We don't bother with fancy uniforms or anything like that. We just wear what’s comfortable for the work. It’s a basic, honest way to make a living, and we’re fine with that. I think we’ve been here since the early days when there were fewer houses around. It suits us just fine.
