Sn Hollow Bricks

We’ve been running the yard here at Library Junction in Elappully for a while now. It’s mostly just us making these hollow bricks every day. You know how it is with this kind of work, it gets a bit dusty and the sun can be really something in the afternoons. We have a small crew and we just get on with it. Some days are busier than others when more trucks come through the junction. We mostly just focus on getting the mix right so the bricks don’t crack when they're drying out in the yard. It's not fancy or anything like that. We spend most of our time out there moving blocks around or checking the machines. People from around Elappully stop by mostly. We don’t have a big office, just a small space to sit down and do the paperwork. It’s a lot of manual labor and honestly, my back feels it by the end of the week. But it’s what we do. The library is right there so we see plenty of people walking past while we’re loading up the flatbeds. We try to keep things moving as fast as we can but sometimes the rain slows us down. That’s just part of the business really. We’ve stayed in this same spot and most folks around here know where to find us if they need building materials for a wall or a small house project. It’s a decent enough life for us.
