You can find Vijay Cold Drink in the Sadar Bazar area of Mungana, which is in the Pratapgarh district. Our shop is right in the middle of the market where all the action is. It is a small place but it stays busy, especially when the weather gets hot. We keep the fridges running all day long and you can hear the hum of the compressors. Sadar Bazar is a crowded place with lots of other shops and people walking by. We start early in the morning by getting the stock delivered and stacking the bottles. There isn't much room to move around once the shop is full. We see all kinds of people from around Mungana who stop in for a quick drink while they are doing their shopping. It is a noisy spot, with vendors calling out and bikes passing by constantly. We don't have any fancy seating, just a counter and some crates. It’s a very simple business. We spend most of our time opening bottles and making change. The dust from the bazar gets everywhere, so we are always wiping things down.
