Vaibhavi Clinic

We started the clinic in Kumbha Nagar a while back. It’s a quiet enough spot most days. We usually get here early to open up the shutters and sweep the front. The neighborhood is mostly families and older folks. Sometimes the waiting area gets a bit crowded when everyone decides to show up at once on a Monday morning. We have these old plastic chairs that have been here since day one. People know where we are because of the big tree nearby. It’s just how things go around here. We spend a lot of time just talking to the folks who walk in. Some are neighbors we have known for years. Others just found us because they live around the corner. We don't have a fancy setup. It’s just a desk, some files, and a few rooms in the back. The sun hits the front window pretty hard in the afternoons, so we usually pull the curtains halfway to stay cool. There is a small shop next door where we get tea sometimes. Everyone knows everyone else in this part of Kumbha Nagar. We aren't doing anything flashy here. Just keeping the doors open and seeing who needs help. It's a steady pace most of the time. When the rain starts, we have to make sure the mat is out so people don't slip. It’s the little things you end up worrying about when you run a place like this on your own.
