Shri Ekling Associate

We are located at No. 245 in the New Cloth Market. If you’ve ever been to the market, you know how loud and busy it can get every day. Shri Ekling Associate has been part of this hub for a while now. We don't sell fabric ourselves, but we handle the business side of things for people who do. Our office is tucked away amongst all the textile shops. It’s a small space, mostly filled with ledger books, files, and a couple of computers that have seen better days. We spend the day dealing with accounts, paperwork, and all the little details that keep a business running. It’s a lot of math and double-checking numbers. The market starts early, so we are usually here before the sun is fully up, getting things ready. We don't have a fancy waiting area or soft music. It’s a place for work. People drop in to drop off receipts or ask about a balance. Sometimes we have to shout a bit just to be heard over the noise of the market outside. We’ve known many of the shopkeepers here for years. It feels like a small community even though it's a huge market. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. It’s not exciting, but it’s what we know how to do well. Most days we are just glad to have the shutters down at the end of the evening.
