We've been here in Shivlok Colony for a while now. The stone business is what we know best because Chittorgarh has plenty of it. It gets really dusty at the yard every day, but that is just part of the work. My guys spend most of their time moving heavy slabs around and checking the blocks as they come in. It is exhausting work. We handle different types of granite and marble. People come by looking for materials for their houses or sometimes bigger projects. It is not a fancy place here. We just have our basic office and the stock sitting outside. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to move things around, especially when it rains heavy and the ground gets muddy. We started this because there is a lot of demand for good stone in this part of Rajasthan. You see these stones used in buildings everywhere, and we just want to make sure the ones we provide are solid. Most days it is just phone calls and checking on the cutting process.
