Sajawat Hand Loom

Sajawat Hand Loom is located right at 15th Nehru Bazar. If you know the market, you know it can get pretty crowded and loud most days of the week. We have been part of this bazaar for quite a while now. Our shop is full of different fabrics, rugs, and handloom items. We spend our mornings unfolding things for customers and our evenings folding them all back up. It is a lot of manual work but we do not mind it at all. The air in the shop always smells a bit like fresh cotton and fabric dye. We do not have any fancy displays or bright LED lights. It is just wooden shelves and stacks of goods piled high. People come to Nehru Bazar looking for something specific, and they usually find their way to our door eventually. We talk to a lot of different people every day. Some are just looking around, while others know exactly what they want for their homes. We try to keep a good variety of things in stock so there is always something new to see. It gets quite hot in the summer months, but the old ceiling fans keep us going. We are just a local shop in a busy market. No corporate offices or big bosses in suits. Just us and the textiles. We like being in the heart of the city. There is always something happening outside on the street. It is a good place to be.
