We operate out of House No-8 in Pratap Nagar, right here in Rawatbhata. It’s an old house called Kamla Niwas. Living and working in Rajasthan means you get used to the heat and the dust pretty quickly. Our name, Renowned Power Plant Of Rajasthan, might sound like a huge facility, but this office is where the planning happens. We’re close to the Charbhuja area. It’s a quiet neighborhood for the most part. We’ve got a lot of history in this town. Most of us grew up around here or moved in years ago for the energy sector. Working with power plants is a lot of technical stuff and keeping track of regulations. We spend our days on the phone or going through stacks of technical manuals. The office is pretty simple, just some desks, chairs, and a lot of filing cabinets. We don't have a receptionist or a big lobby. If someone stops by, they usually just knock on the door of Kamla Niwas. Rawatbhata is a specific kind of place, very tied to the industry, and we fit right into that. We take the bus or drive down the road via Kota when we need supplies. It’s a long road but we’re used to it. Every day is different, depending on what’s happening at the main sites. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing in our little corner of Pratap Nagar.
