Rajasthan Atomic Power Project 5&6, Rajasthan Site

Our office is located at Block No. 30/ 175 in the Hwp Colony. This is part of the Rajasthan Atomic Power Project 5&6 site in Rawatbhata. To get here, you usually have to come via Kota, which is the nearest big city and transport hub. The pin code for our mail is 323307. Living and working in the Hwp Colony is a bit different from a normal town. It is a dedicated space for the people involved with the power project. The buildings are all pretty similar, standard government-style blocks that have been here for many years. It is a quiet neighborhood for the most part, except for when the shifts change and everyone is out on the roads. Our specific block is just a regular place where we keep track of the site details and the daily logs. There is nothing high-tech about our office interior; it is just metal desks, old filing cabinets, and a lot of printed manuals on the shelves. The weather in this part of Rajasthan is very dry and the summers are incredibly hot, so we spend a lot of time indoors during the middle of the day with the coolers running. We have got a small group working in this block, and we have all become pretty good friends over the years. We focus on the technical side of the project and making sure the records for units 5 and 6 are kept in good order. It is a long-term project.
