Padmawati Handloom & Super Bazar

We are located right in the Kila Parisar area of Pratapgarh. If you are ever near the Zero Mile Chorah, you are basically right at our doorstep. It is a lively part of the tehsil. We have been running this bazar for a good bit now, selling handloom items and all sorts of household things. It gets pretty crowded on market days. You will see people from all over the district coming through. The shop is full of colors from the fabrics and textiles we keep on the shelves. We try to keep things organized, but in a busy place like this, things get moved around a lot. My brother and I usually handle the front, and we have a couple of helpers for the stock. It is a lot of standing around and talking to customers. We don't have a mission statement or any of that corporate stuff. We just sell things that people need for their homes. The old fort area has a lot of history, and we feel like we are a small part of that daily life. Some customers have been coming to us since they were kids. It makes the long hours feel worth it. When the sun goes down, the lights around the crossroads come on and it stays busy until late. We just close up when the crowd thins out. It is a simple life, really.
