It’s a busy part of town because of all the government offices nearby. People are always coming and going from the 312001 area. We’ve been running things here for a while, and it’s definitely had its ups and downs. Some days the water pressure is great, other days we have to call the plumber to check the tanks on the roof. It’s part of the life of running a motel in a place like this. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us handling the front desk and making sure the rooms are swept. Chittorgarh is a hot place, so we spend a lot of time checking the fans and coolers. We like being near the Collectorate because it feels like the center of things. The building has some character, even if the paint is peeling a bit in the corners. We do our own maintenance mostly. If a chair breaks, we fix it. If the floor needs scrubbing, we do it. It’s a simple setup. We know most of the people who walk past our doors every morning. We just try to keep a roof over people's heads and stay out of trouble. It's a living, and it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk every single day of the week.
