Hindusthan Zinc Limited is situated at Cf-58 in Zinc Nagar. This whole area is pretty much built around the industry, so everyone here knows what we do. It’s a bit of a specialized place. The office at Cf-58 is where we handle the local coordination and the day-to-day paperwork that comes with managing zinc production and distribution. It’s not a fancy glass building. It’s a solid, practical structure that has seen a lot of seasons. Inside, you’ll find stacks of reports and some old desks that have been here since the start. We have a small team here who have lived in Zinc Nagar for most of their lives. There is a sense of routine that doesn't really change much. We start early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool. Most of the day is spent checking figures or coordinating with the transport guys. It can be quite loud when the heavy machinery is operating nearby, but you get used to it after a while. We aren't really looking for attention or trying to impress anyone with the office decor. We just make sure the operations run as they should. Sometimes visitors come by and they are surprised by how quiet the actual office is compared to the rest of the site. It’s just a place of work where we try to keep things organized. We’ve been part of this community for a long time now.
