We are based at C-90 in the Zinc Nagar area of Chittorgarh. This is a common spot for anyone involved with Hindustan Zinc Ltd or the Vedanta Plc operations in the region. The address is 312001, just in case you are looking at a map. It’s a typical company colony house that we’ve turned into our main point of operation. There isn't much to say about the building itself; it’s sturdy and keeps the sun out, which is what matters most in this part of Rajasthan. We have been here for a while, so we have seen the colony change over the years as more people come in. The vibe is very focused on work. You won’t find any big banners or promotional displays at our door. We just have our equipment and the space we need to handle the admin side of things. The morning starts with the sound of the shift change whistles and then it’s just a steady stream of work until the evening. It is a very practical way to live and work.
