Hindustan Zinc Limited

This office is located at Sf-17 in the New Executive Hostel over on Kapasan Road. Being part of the Hindustan Zinc Limited colony in Chittorgarh means you’re never really far from the job. The 312001 pincode is pretty much where our lives happen day in and day out. We handle a lot of the administrative tasks from this specific room. It’s one of the newer hostels in the area, so the walls are a bit cleaner than some others, but it’s still a working space through and through. We have a few computers and a lot of old ledgers that always need updating. Most mornings start with a short walk from the living quarters over to this wing. You see the other guys heading out to the plants or coming back tired from a long night shift. It’s a rhythm we’ve all gotten used to over the years here. We don't have much in the way of decoration on the walls, just some calendars and maybe a few personal photos on the desks to make it feel less empty. It’s about getting the work done without making a big fuss about things. The air is usually dry and hot outside, so we keep the windows shut to keep the dust out. People come in and out with documents all day long. We know everyone who works in this section, so it feels more like a small family than a big corporate office. We just stay organized.
