Hindustan Zinc Limited

You can find us in Room FF-16 on the first floor of the Engineers Hostel. We are located in Zincnagar, which is a well-known part of Chittorgarh because of the Hindustan Zinc Limited operations nearby. The hostel is always full of life. There are people from all over the country staying here, so you hear a lot of different languages in the corridors. Our room, FF-16, is where we keep our things and manage our schedule. It is a simple setup with just the bare essentials. We don't believe in making things more complicated than they need to be. The building is a typical hostel structure, nothing too modern, but it serves its purpose well. Outside, the roads of Zincnagar are usually busy with company buses and cycles. We spend a lot of our time either in the room or at the site. The climate in Rajasthan means we are always looking for a bit of shade. We have our meals at the canteen and catch up on the local news with the other staff members. It’s a very grounded way of living. We don't have any polished mission statements or marketing brochures. We just live here and do the work that needs to be done every day. It’s a practical life, and we are quite content with the way things are in our little corner. We just do what is required.
