Hindustan Zinc Limited

Our spot is B 275 over on Kapasan Road in Zinc Nagar. Chittorgarh is a big area for the industry, so we are right where we need to be. The road outside can get pretty loud with all the heavy vehicles passing by, but you get used to the vibration after a week or two. We have a decent space here, nothing too big or too small. It’s mostly filled with desks, metal filing cabinets, and a lot of pens that always seem to go missing. We focus on getting the daily reports done and making sure the communication lines are open. It’s a lot of routine, honestly. We arrive in the morning, check the messages, and start the paperwork. There is a small shop nearby where we get our snacks. We don’t have a fancy lunchroom, so we just eat at our desks while we talk about the news or the weather. Rajasthan heat can be tough, so we keep the blinds closed most of the day. The lighting inside is a bit yellow, but it’s enough to see what we are doing. We are part of the Hindustan Zinc Limited family, but we run this specific branch with our own little rhythm. It’s about being reliable and staying on top of the mundane things that keep the larger gears turning. We don’t use big words or have long speeches. We just work until the day is done.
