It’s a bit dusty and loud because of all the machinery and work going on nearby. We deal with the engineering and labor side of things for the units 5 and 6. There is always a lot of movement, with people in hard hats and safety gear coming in and out. We don't have any fancy carpets or soft chairs. It is all metal desks and sturdy stools. The weather in Rajasthan can be very hot, so we just try to keep the fans going and stay hydrated. We spend our time checking schedules and making sure the supplies have arrived. It is a very practical, hands-on environment. You won't find any corporate slogans on the walls here, just maps of the project and safety warnings. That is just how it is for Hindustan Construction Co.Ltd out here at the Anushakti site. We are just a group of people trying to get this big project finished and doing it one day at a time.
